Kaveh S. Shahi was admitted to practice in California in 1983. After a clerkship for the Santa Clara County Superior Court, Mr. Shahi worked for litigation firms in the San Francisco Bay Area before relocating to Vermont in 1989. He was associated with predecessor firms of Cleary Shahi & Aicher and became a shareholder in 1997.
Mr. Shahi is engaged in a diverse trial and appellate practice in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage, civil rights, construction, medical, legal and dental malpractice, employment law, and commercial SEC cases. He was an adjunct professor at Vermont Law School on the topic of internet law. Mr. Shahi is a Fellow of the prestigious International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He carries the highest rating from Chambers and Partners Guide and the Best Lawyers in the USA. Mr. Shahi is a member of Defense Research Institute, Supreme Court Historic Society, International Association of Defense Counsel, and other professional associations.
