Joel Iannuzzi was born in Summit, New Jersey on March 16, 1958. He was admitted to the New York Bar and the U.S. District Courts of New York (Southern and Eastern) in 1984. He was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1991. He was admitted to the Vermont State and Federal Bars in 2003. Mr. Iannuzzi joined the firm in March of 2003, following his relocation from Brooklyn, New York in September of 2002. He has been in private practice since his admission to the bar. He was a founder and principal of the New York City firm of Beck & Iannuzzi and its successor firm, Beck, Iannuzzi & Garcia. He has been a practicing personal injury litigator for more than 23 years.
Practice Areas:
Mr. Iannuzzi has represented defendants in personal injury litigation throughout his career. His New York firm specialized in construction/labor law defense and general premises liability litigation. His firm represented various insurance carriers, including Aetna, Liberty Mutual, Empire and Travelers. The firm became primary counsel in the New York Metropolitan area for Peter Kiewit & Sons, the largest private construction firm in the United States. The firm also became primary counsel in the New York Metropolitan area for Herco and its subsidiary, Hersey Park. Mr. Iannuzzi has been litigating significant personal injury cases throughout his career.
